Facilities at Tan Son Nhat Airport
Tan Son Nhat International Airport combines three passenger terminals, three cargo terminals, two runways and a 70-metre control tower on one site inside Ho Chi Minh City. This page lists the main facilities of the airport.
Passenger facilities
- Three terminals — Terminal 1 (domestic, 40,948 m²), Terminal 2 (international, 115,834 m²) and Terminal 3 (domestic, 112,500 m²), giving about 50 million passengers of total capacity.
- Seven lounges in Terminal 2 — Apricot Business, Jasmine Halal, Lotus 1 and 2, Le Saigonnais, Orchid and Rose Business.
- Bus station — in front of Terminal 2, served by lines 109, 152, 49 and 119.
- Free inter-terminal shuttle — every 15 minutes, 04:30–00:30 (landside) plus an airside shuttle for transit passengers.
- Terminal 3 services complex — 130,000 m² of non-aviation services and parking, linked by footbridges.
Cargo facilities
- Three cargo terminals with a combined capacity of 700,000 tonnes a year.
- Air Freight Terminals 1 and 2 (Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services, TCS): terminal 1 inaugurated 1 January 1997; terminal 2 opened May 2012 after 20 months of construction, built for US$15 million and covering 13,700 m².
- SCSC (Saigon Cargo Services Corporation): built March 2009 – December 2010 for US$50 million, with a 26,670 m² terminal.
Airfield

- Control tower — a 70-metre tower in service since 2013.
